Hidden Peril is book two in the Code of Honor series and a great addition to the group. This book took an interesting and unexpected turn and is filled with covert plans. I enjoyed Hidden Peril and especially loved Kristin Dane and Luke Carter. The two were so different and yet fit together perfectly. Their romantic tension builds intensely and is woven throughout with the backing of suspense. I found myself rooting for several people in the story and though I figured out quickly who the bad guy was, I didn’t expect the ending to turn out the way it did. No spoilers here though. Hidden Peril is definitely a worthwhile read.
