I loved the stories of love and life depicted in the stories. Though they’ve given up so much, they gain so much more. Without the complexities of life outside their communities, love seems to have such a deeper meaning and family is essential. Their stories encompass sacrifice, truly loving someone more than oneself, and the willingness to let God be God in their lives.

This is a great collection that can be read throughout the year but would be especially meaningful during the Christmas season.
