Sabotaged by Dani Pettrey is the final book in the Alaskan Courage Series and is a suspenseful tale from start to finish. Although I had not read the first four books, I was able to follow along in the story easily enough.

Kirra Jacobs and Reef McKenna have known each other since childhood and although they’ve never been great friends, they find themselves thrown together in an effort to save Kirra’s cousin, Meg, who has suddenly gone missing. Meg isn’t exactly a goody two shoes, so tracking her down is challenging when it seems no one is taking them seriously in the matter. But Kirra knows something is wrong and she’s determined to find Meg.

Kirra’s uncle Frank, (who is also Meg’s father) has gone missing as well in the middle of the Iditarod race. As one of the most experienced racers, it seems highly unlikely that Frank just lost course.

Entangled in a web of past secrets, hidden agendas and shady characters, Kirra and Reef trek across Alaska searching for Frank and Meg all the while dodging killers out to silence them.

Sabotaged is a nail-biting story that will grip the reader from the very first page and keep you enthralled until the very end.

I received this book from Bethany Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion which I’ve provided here.
